The Best Western Hotel Canada was a great pick for our two night stay in Rome. It is spotlessly clean, the room was quite large (for European standards), air conditioning worked great, good breakfast and convenient location to both Termini station and subway station literally right around corner. This restaurant is hidden away from the very touristy areas in a street behind Via Veneto near to the Borghese Park entrance. It serves traditional food in a modern setting (lots of wood and polished metal) try the Arancini classico, delicious mozarella filled rice balls with herbs, or the crunchy bruschetta with proscutto and soft mozarella. Great location just off of Via Croce, 2 mins from the Spanish Steps this homely restaurant has friendly staff and a good selection on the menu, if you speak/read Italian even a little, ask for the menu in Italian as this has a lot more specialities on it compared to the pared down 'tourists menu' We had fab fettucine and... more
