This is my favourite restaurant in Venice. The San Trovaso serves great traditional, home cooked food, always delicious and fantastic value, particularly bearing in mind that Venice is such an expensive place to eat out. Lovely staff. I stayed at the Montecarlo for one night in July with 7 friends (4 rooms total). We are all extremely happy with the hotel. The location was perfect -- just a few steps from San Marco Square with easy access to the vaporettos.
