We took the trip from Ocho Rios. It was a long and at points scary ride but so beautiful and so worth it. We had our waiter from the Sandals resort drive us and act as a guide. When we arrived we were pretty much surrounded by the locals trying to sell us pot or take the pot fields tour.... more

I am a huge marley fan and although I have been to Jamaica many times both before and after his death in may of 81 (I was there the day he died and it was the saddest day in Jamaica i have ever witnessed). I have never been to the museum so on my last trip (end of Feb/08) I... more

We travelled to Jamaica for a two week vacation, and could not leave without paying a pilgrimage to the Bob Marley Museum. We booked a private taxi for the day, so we were able to go around the island and enjoy the beautiful countryside and the company of Mooney our taxi driver, who looked after us and our every need.... more

Then things really start to get rural. Your driving up this mountain, with no rails. The sights are so amazing. We saw all the wonderful... more

We were not disappointed!. There are 3 principal attractions in Jamaica which are dedicated to teh memory of this musical giant. Each is based in one... more

The ride into the rain forest, up the Jamaican Blue Mountains and into 9 Mile is unbelievable. Our driver stopped a few times for some breath taking photos. Take the time.... (On a side note, please bring some sweets,candy,coloring... more

My husband, two other hostellers and I rented a car and drove over to 9 Mile to visit the birthplace of Bob Marley, and take the tour of his home and mausoleum. We are all very savvy travellers and had been in Jamaica (Negril) partying for a few days before we went up to 9 Mile, so we were used... more

This is probably worth a visit if you are really keen on this artist. Taking a camera is hardly worth it, as you can’t take any pictures from inside the house. The house was a disappointment a simple, two-storey structure, surrounded by black, red, yellow and green gates. Inside the house the room walls were plastered with newspaper cuttings, photos... more
