Strolling around the neighborhood for an hour was fun. Narrow cobble stoned streets with tall buildings on either side. It certainly was historic. Gamla Stan is a beautifull historical place with cobbled streets. Nice to walk around for a couple of hours but not really surprising. It's a bit monotonous compared to historical topsights in Europe like Bruges, Florence, ... I experienced it as an open air museum.
