We played Old Head, Waterville, Dooks, Tralee, Ballybunion, Lahinch, and Adare. Waterville was our clear favorite-18 terrific holes, nothing "tricked up", minimal blind shots, difficult, in very good condition, and the employees were terrific. With the dunes, on many holes you feel like you are the only people on the golf course, with the ocean as backdrop. Just a perfect... more

We put Waterville Golf Links on our list because of it's reputation as the place where Tiger & his buddies have gone prior to the Open Championship. Well, they found a gem in Waterville. Even though my visit to Waterville was on a day where they had not seen so much rain in nearly a year and a half, this course is a true gem.
