You pretty much have to be travelling independently in a rented car to be able to stop at this park. It is right on the highway just south of Cancun. There are numerous turtles, lizards, crocodiles, monkeys, etc to walk around and see. The guides are really good and speak English. The entrance fee was quite small, but the guides... more

Visited Spring Break March 2005 with my husband and 14 year old son. Transportation was the collectivo from Playa del Carmen. We had a fun time at this little advertised "zoo." Admission was about $10 or 12. Refreshments were available. You got your own personal guide to take you through the jungle like grounds. English speaking guides were available. We... more

Besides the wonderful beaches, friendly people, interesting mayan pyramides, you should not forget to watch the wonderful nature and be aware that nature is somewhat damaged because of tourism. There is a place on the highway from Playa del Carmen to the Airport which is called Crococun. That place is great to visit, it will take you half a day... more
