Well done museum. Not expensive at all, and ironically, you have to veer left from a Casino to get there. Lots of statues, and small exhibits. This is a "must see" for a depiction of what life was like in the former Czechoslovakia during the years of Communism. Well worth a look if you are interested in the Czech Republic’s communist past. The information boards include English translations providing information about Marx, Lenin, and Stalin, the arts, sport, and propaganda during communist times. There is also a video with sobering footage from the Velvet Revolution. Probably allow at least an hour to look through. more

Definitely one to make time for. Not that well publicised, it is above one of the two McDonald's in Wensclas Square. Make sure you watch the video before you leave as it is really humbling. Remember what your main concerns were in 1989? more
