There is a great permanent collection of contemporary and 19th century art that is surprising in its diversity. The quality of the art exceeds what I have seen in comparable institutions in BsAs and Mexico City. Many of the contemporary artists show the influence of the art of the early 20th century in Europe but none of it is copy-cat.... more
