The Siq is the narrow stone canon that takes you to Petra. To get there from the ticket boxes, you need to walk down a road first. Really, do walk down to the Siq, don't hire a horse: they are tourist traps. And just ignore the horse beduins: they were the only men in our whole trip who said nasty... more
