This is my first review of an attraction. I've never been compelled before....... But Bryant Park....oh my!!!! This is absolutely my favorite place in NYC now. You must experience it. A wonderful, relaxing park in the middle of everything. I had heard of it, but was pleasantly suprised at the beauty of the park and the upkeep - the flowers and lawn was nicely maintained. Stayed on 12th floor in deluxe room. Booked through hotels.com at $289/night special rate for 2 nights in June 2008. Room has good light, is quiet., and has wood floors. I visited Bryant Park when we needed some down time from seeing the sights. It was a beautiful day, 74 degrees and sunny. The park was very busy, from businessmen to college students, and of courst toursit like myself. There was a live band playing. I lay down on the grass in the sun and let the band and lovely... more

I love, love, LOVE this fabulous park!! It's located just behind the New York Public Library at 42nd street (between 5th and 6th). It's a great place to stop and enjoy an outdoor lunch when the weather co-operates. Ok...so the park is heavily over ruled by security guards, it's still one of the best public spaces I've ever been to. On a pack hot Sunday...I was able to find seating without a problem. Got a seat right next to the fountain, which was great with a sandwich from 'WichCraft. The scenery was great as was the atmosphere. This... more

We loved the holiday market and the ice skating rink at Bryant Park. The skating was free but if you needed skates there was a 7.50pp charge, still much less expensive than Wollman Rink or Rockefeller Center. Also it is right next door to the NY Public library which is also grand! more
