The room is comfortable, despite the small bathroom, and there are tea and coffee facilities. Your room key (card) should be used in the elevator and automatically brings you to the right level. Internet is free at the business office in the basement but the PCs are in Japanese only. We tried to print but you have to pay (20... more

This is a beautiful hotel w/ small but sleek, modern, comfortable well-equipped rooms. The neighborhood is expensive and the staff seemed cold, almost condescending, not warm, inviting or overly congenial, especially compared w/ other service personnel we encountered in our 1-week stay in Japan. Both of the rooms we had on the 8th floor suffered from poor bathtub drainage resulting... more

This is a newly renovated hotel (was a Renaissance property a few years ago). Very nice and clean, but TV selection very poor (no english). Not crowded at all; small and easy to get around. Subway station 2 blocks away, and walking distance from Tsukiji fish market and Ginza street. more

I don't usually stay at Courtyard Marriotts back in the US, however this one was great. The best I've stayed at. It's more like Marriott's next level of hotel (the regular Marriott Hotel, I guess). Had everything you have in other Marriotts. This makes it a bit soul less. I could have been in Indianapolis, Houston or, in this case,... more

We just got back from a great weekend getaway to Tokyo. Our stay at the Marriot Courtyard Hotel in Ginza was fantastic. It was so nice to return to the hotel every evening after a busy day in and around Tokyo. We stayed 3 nights overall at the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient despite the late hour. We... more

RC Jensen Date: 20 June 2008 Trip Adviser Member, London UK In many aspects, this hotel was not what I would generally expect from the Marriott group of hotels, but then again the Courtyard hotels are at the lower end of the group range and my sneaky feeling is, as the Japanese name of this hotel implies e.g. "Tobu Ginza... more

The hotel is a good base for exploring Tokyo. Location is brilliant. We walked Ginza’s streets every night - it felt very safe. A stone’s throw away is a good choice of cafes and famous department stores, beautiful gardens and the metro. Central station is also reachable on foot within 30 minutes, or taxi ride about 10 minutes. The rooms... more

This is our second time staying at the Courtyard, Ginza, so that says something about the place. The location is excellent, with subway stations (plural) very close and a block away from the big name stores. The Sony, Nikon and Canon buildings are within walking distance. The Tsukiji fish market is about 800m away. Service is outstanding, they'll even provide... more

Stayed at this hotel for roughly 2 weeks using it as a base to explore ALL of Tokyo & some outlying areas. A little pricey, but it is the Ginza district & priced accordingly - we used points for our long stay. Staff is very attentive throughout the entire hotel & spoke English well enough to communicate. With the Higashi... more

We stayed here at the Courtyard Tokyo Ginza for 3 nights in May and had a great time! The staff was very helpful and spoke proper english (even though any of our attempts at Japanese was also well-received). The location is off a little bit from the main shopping streets in Ginza which is fine since we could take a... more
