We stayed 4 nights at the Seiyo, which had been recommended to us by a frequent traveller to Japan. We were awed by the level of service. The location is perfect for sightseeing. This is my FAVORITE hotel in Tokyo! I stay at Hotel Seiyo Ginza EVERY YEAR for a week. This hotel is located in GINZA and 20 seconds by foot to the best shopping area in Tokyo. I did not stay at this hotel, but I did dine at the Kitscho Restaurant on it's basement level and the experience was so dismal, I felt compelled to log it here on tripadvisor so hopefully others will not suffer the same fate! We just returned from a 5 night stay at the Seiyo Ginza. We checked in at 6:00 PM and after unpacking asked the concierge for a dinner suggestion. I just cannot believe that there is no previous review for this hotel. This is the best hotel in Tokyo both in terms of service and in terms of location.
