My family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in an ocean view studio. It was fabulous - a very large long room with 2 double beds and a pull out bed, kitchen area and bathroom. Loads of storage space for 4 people. I loved the 2 patios, one of which had soft comfy chairs and the second had chairs and a... more

Our 3 night stay at the Lodge began with a fruit cocktail offered to us by the friendly staff upon check in...it only got better. Curacao has more things in common with a desert than a tropical island, but it is distinctly caribbean. The Lodge's location, isolated from the tourist areas is a tranquil paradise; the pastel colors of our... more

We stayed here for about four days and for me it was one of the best hotels in the Caribbean - and we have been to a few. The hotel isn't in town but they provide a free shuttle which you can take. It collects you at the end of the day and that is plenty to sightsee around the... more

My husband & I just returned Sat. from 7 nights at the Lodge. We were greeted by the manager Delno Tromp as soon as we arrived. It was our 30th anniversary & our children had arranged a few extras to surprise us. Delno & his staff were all aware of the special occasion & helped our children make it a... more

My husband and I recently spent 12 days at this amazing ocean front resort. In every way it exceeded our exoectations. Each and every staff person was warm and friendly, and eager to please. We stayed in an Ocean front studio and couldn't believe the amount of indoor and outdoor space that we had. The room is very spacious with... more

I write this review knowing that it sounds too good to be true but promise you that it is completely true. I went to Curacao expecting a very layed back atmosphere with people that move at there own pace. That is what I want from a vacation for myself but not what I want from a hotel and it's staff.... more

If you are going to Curacao and seek a hotel with quiet, high quality, simple elegance, stay here. After reading the many useful TA reviews, my husband and I chose Kura Hulanda for our honeymoon June 22-July 6, 2008. We've traveled extensively in the Caribbean and we would return to this hotel. The positive reviews are very on target so... more

Where to begin? I originally booked a vaction to Curacao and we were going to stay at the Breezes. After reading review after review on trip advisor I relized I had made a huge mistake. After doing more and more research and reading enough reviews to make my wife think I was compulsive obsessive, I came to the conclusion that... more

We spent 3 nights at the Kura Hulanda, after 5 nights at the Marriott in Willemstad. We loved it! If we had it to do over, we probably would have spent more time at the Kura Hulanda. The landscaping is lovely, so many flowering shrubs and trees. After visiting the desolate north shore, we appreciated it even more! I emailed... more

We booked our 8 days trip to Lodge Kura Hulanda, (means “Holland Yard“) through Expedia. Could not find better deal elsewhere. Transfer was a part of the package as our flight was arriving late. As it was mentioned here, car is necessary if staying more that 3 days. Try to rent online at Budget at around $30/day. While on Curacao,... more
