Samsara rocked. I mean think of the price. We got our trip for 1685 total for two of us 10 days including air. So for the price we were happy. Sure the hotel could use some TLC but it was beautiful and the staff was chill. What can you really expect for such a bargin price. If you want to... more

Just got back today from this hotel, prior to this holiday we were all quite stressed, what a great place to unwind and relax, with great views and friendly staff. Rooms are basic but clean, for the price you cant complain. unfortunately we never had much money to do any excursions so i cant comment on them next time hopefully.... more

When we booked our holiday, we immediately checked out the reviews on here. As you intelligent people out there will know, everyone goes on holiday for different reasons. If you want to party til your pants fall off, then go to the beach in Negril, but if you fancy a bit of peace and tranquility with the OPTION to party... more

A friend and I decided to stay at Samsara, because it was the cheapest and the safest way to do it according to the reviews we have read. We were in double room with fan, breakfast plan. It turned out to be much better than we have expected! The food was great (and we come from the Balkans, so we... more

We had our wedding and honeymoon at Samsara. The entire visit was pure bliss. Our room was like a cottage, and it was spacious and lovely, we had our own porch where we sat and watch the sun go down. Our wedding was amazing, Keriann was the perfect coordinator, she made sure everything was done to perfection. The entire staff... more

If you're the type of traveler that values a cultural experience over a ritzy, Americanized resort - check out Samsara. If you're the type of traveler that will exchange the glitz and glam for a relaxing, realistic experience of a new country - Samsara may be the spot for you. I call it a great Do It Yourself spot because... more

My friends and I stayed at Samsara for 11 days. The entire staff was wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. If anyone ever felt any stress come on, we sent them to Inesha, the massage therapist and she took care of it. Jamaica is a country of beauty and culture. If you are expecting polished marble everywhere and fake... more

My wife and I had a trip scheduled to Fantasy Fest in October of 2005. Sadly, hurricane Wilma had other plans. We quickly rerouted ourselves to Negril, Jamaica, where I had stayed twice before. Both times on the beach at the Firefly. I wanted to stay closer to the redecorated/rebuilt Ricks, and something cliff-side. We settled on the Samsara. The... more

Our 5 days at Samsara were a very Jamaican experience as opposed to the big resorts and chains, in a beautiful, peaceful, setting. Don't go to this hotel if you're looking for an American-style vacation or a luxury all-inclusive holiday. It's a quiet, cliff-side hotel in a breath-taking setting. The location was convenient and allowed us to walk to local... more
