The Trinidad Hyatt was the most impressive hotel I've ever been to, the design of the hotel is stunning. The glass-wall bathroom was a bit weird for me for the first time, but after having a sea-view shower I completely changed my mind. The breakfast was really good, local and European/American food mixed, with good local choices. One problem we... more

It opened a couple of months ago. Staff were friendly but reception became confused with relatively straight forward issues. They did try but need more polish. The Hotel has limited tourist activities, it seems designed for business travellers. more

First of all I live in Trinidad. My boyfriend and I decided a romantic night out so I decide to make hyatt my choice. Although our stay was just one night I must say that this hotel is the most fantastic hotel in Trinidad. The city view at night is fantastic. The room with the glass shower in the bedroom... more

This hotel is a very nice place to stay. We stayed here mainly because it was safe. We arrived to check in at 10:30pm and we were given champagne while we checked in. We walked into our room and it was very clean with a fully stocked mini bar. The queen beds are very small and hard to fit two... more

Was there for a conference which had booked the hotel fully. Everything worked like a charm and bc .of security concerns we did not venture outside the hotel. The area around the hotel is 'sketchy' at best, but inside we felt safe at all times. Great room, 20th floor, with view of the harbour (which is nothing to write home... more

I stayed at this hotel in its 5th week of operation, arriving whilst the pool was closed down. Although a grand entrance and quite interesting rooms (no separate bathroom) the service needs to improve. On the first day there was no hot water in the room, merely brown sludge running from the taps, forcing me to leave for business meetings... more

The Hyatt Regency Trinidad is fantastic. The moment you experience the lobby, the noise and haste of Port of Spain are instantly forgotten in the newest, most upscale hotel on the island of Trinidad. My room was on the 11th floor with a city view, but rooms on the other side of the building have unobstructed ocean views. The room... more

Awesome Hotel! Hotel is new and full of amenities. I work for an airline that put its crew in several hotels in Port-of-Spain and we finaly found the perfect hotel. Rooms have a great shower that is in the room itself. If you are traveling with someone you don’t really know it can be a bit awkward. Also the bed... more

I chose the Hyatt Regency Trinidad because it had just opened and promised to be a major step up from the rest of the hotels in Port of Spain. Overall, I was not disappointed, though a few details were overlooked for a hotel in its price range. The hotel had been open just two weeks when I stayed there, and... more
