We stayed 4 nights at the Travelodge during the Calgary Stampede. The receptionist Emad was really friendly, I asked if we could switch from our 2 queen bed room to a king bed room. All he said was that we would enjoy our room that he gave us. Leaving recepion I thought we only got a standard room with a... more

Only had a need for 1 night's stay during Stampede 2008 and this fit the bill just fine for our family. Met all our expectations: - close (a very, very, very short walking distance across the street) to the C-Train so we wouldn't have to drive to or park at Stampede - fridge and microwave - lots of plugs in... more

The rooms were reasonable, clean enough and reasonably equipped some had new flat screen TVs. Our's had an older one but I saw them carrying new ones into the building so they are probably exchanging them. There was a free wireless internet connection if you got the password and user name from reception. The beds were comfortable and clean enough,... more

Our Calgary resident daughter booked this for us as it was close to where she lived. After our 20 or so hours flying we did not care where we dropped on the first night of our trip. The price was very reasonable for our one night stay. The staff were quite helpful in getting us checked in early. Our room... more

We were looking for an inexpensive but clean and comfortable place close to Foothills and was pleased with what we got (king-sized bed, large screen TV, large room with couch, fridge and microwave) and ended up spending approx $100 CAD. You can always pick out something that could be better but for the price, it was better than I expected.... more

We travel with our dog and were pleased to discover the Travelodge accepts pets. The pet-friendly rooms are as immaculate as standard rooms. We were equally pleased by the low room rates, the excellent continental breakfast, and good customer service. We have made the Travelodge (Calgary University) our hotel of choice whenever we travel to Calgary. more

We stayed at this travelodge location August 8th, 2007. We has initially booked when it was still a Holiday Inn. The property was well maintained. The rooms were very clean and spacous. They had microwaves and fridges as well. The continental breakfast was nice. It was too cold to swim in the outdoor pool when we stayed. The pool is... more

Conveniently located near a Ctrain stop, continental breakfast included and fridge + microwave in the room, but old noisy aircon/ fan. Some rooms on the 3rd floor are also pretty noisy (with aircon off) as there is a generator or similar on the roof. The hotel has just become a Travelodge - we hadn't been informed prior to arrival of... more
