This was a great bed and breakfast experience! The home is just beautiful with so much character. We stayed in the Honorable Judge Monk room and the Charles Monk room, which were both beautiful (although it must be noted that the Judge Monk room has a window onto the front street which is a bit noisy, though the windows when... more

The interior decor was superb. Denis, the owner, renovated the 1870s mansion with modern amenities and still kept the vintage charm... The house is full of pleasant surprises...Take time to explore. Denis is a congenial host at breakfast time...foods are homemade and juices are fresh sqeezed. He even accomodated our special requests... Denis exhibited encyclopedic knowledge of local restaurants. We... more

Dennis and his staff were wonderful. And they know a lot about the history of the house. My planned stay was just as I had hoped. The B&B beautiful and the breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and organic breads was great. Then a blizzard hit and my flight was cancelled. Dennis welcomed me back, and his consideration and service... more

We had a wonderful stay, and Denis was a wonderful host. This B and B had excellent amenities, to name a few: the billiard room was a lot of fun, and the free internet and maps were great. The best part of the place -- to get from one side of the building to the other, there is a secret... more

This B&B was simply outstanding. The interior of the two adjoining manors has been lavishly restored with beautiful Victorian furnishings and antiques. The lovely woodwork found in every room gives the feeling that you have been transported back to another age. In particular, if you are seeking a luxurious and romantic retreat - this is the place. The atmosphere overall... more

This was my first visit to Montreal and I had the luck of choosing the Victorian Heritage. Due to airport delays, I arrived beyond the expected time, and Dennis was graciously waiting and eager to please and provide a tour of the beautifully restored inn. Dennis's staff are friendly and are there when you need them, and not when you... more

The bed was amazing (slept 12 hours one night and was accommodated with a slightly late breakfast), food was delicious and more generous than described, staff was authentic and friendly and very helpful, location perfect! I hope that with these photos we can move the Victorian Heritage up the list a bit. Stayed in one of the top five the... more

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was in keeping with the high-roofed, wood-panelled Victorian interior - comfy bed, lovely bath. Great breakfasts with home-made breads and jams galore. Neatly located in the Latin Quarter, close to the best bars and restaurants in Montreal. more

We stayed June 13-16. Overall a pleasant stay! My first impression upon arriving at the street address was not very appealing on the outside. The location is great easy access to the subway. The room we requested was the Polyxenes Room. The room is small no desk if you like to write has one window, and a small refrigerator. I... more
