We stayed in the double room with ensuite with a lovely view of the garden. The room was very inviting, clean and comfortable. The guest kitchen has full cooking and cleaning facilities with the added bonus of free internet inbetween meals! Not to mention the free chocolate digestives which are my favourites!! Did not get to meet the owners, which is usually part of the fun in staying in such places. Staff seemed a bit demotivated. Bed was the worst ever, lumpy, hard and squeeked and creeked with every move, the matress should have been dumped years ago. This would not cost much to fix surely. We had a twin room here and it was very cosy but clean. The bathroom was fine though the towels had what looked like rust stains on them.
