What a great hotel the Clarion is. I would say it is three times as good as the Shelbourne at one third of the cost. Check in was friendly and efficient. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the river (as requested) and had a huge balcony. Breakfast was first class. Really recommended. more

Stayed here for one night in Dublin on business - it's perfect for anyone with meetings in the new Docklands financial district. The staff was extraordinarily friendly, almost to the extent that it was over the top. We had excellent service in the hotel restaurant, which serves tasty Asian-themed food and is happy to adapt many of their dishes for... more

Just enjoyed a good stay at the Clarion. About 15 minute walk to Temple Bar area - and half an hour stagger back. Staff at Hotel were nice and efficient, rooms were modern and clean, and pool and gym were great - bigger than expected. Breakfast could have been hotter, dry bacon & cheap sausages - but good choice otherwise.... more

We were visiting Ireland on a Globus Tour and this was the hotel for our first leg of the trip. We were here two nights and slept very comfortably and enjoyed the free internet. The food was fantastic in the restaurant and I can not say more regarding the hotel staff then the fact that they treat you like family.... more

Stayed here while attending a show in The Point. Location is ok. Hotel was clean but simple for the price paid. Would stay there again if attending a show nearby but would chose a more central Dublin hotel otherwise. more

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in Jan. 2008 for business. I think this hotel is best described as your typical business hotel nowadays--modern decor, etc., but nothing that really stands out. The room I had was fine and had a balcony where I could see the river Liffey but it was extremely windy but nice nonetheless. My... more

In a word this place is "Excellent" form the staff to the hotel itself, we stayed here for a couple of nights and had a fantastic time. Do yourself a favour have a treatment in the new spa, you won't regret it. Will definitely be coming back. more
