Approaching Parnell Square from the airport you come through some fairly run down areas and it seems miles from the likes of Grafton Street etc. However Parnell Square which has a tortuous one way system is in fact very central and the location is the best thing about this hotel. It is at the top of O'Connell Street and almost... more

We ended up at the Hotel St George after wondering the city of Dublin looking for a hotel for hours. The hotel staff was great! They let us look at the rooms before we decided on the ones we wanted. There were 6 of us traveling together and the rooms we selected had 3 individual twin beds in them, a... more

Just returned from a weekend break at Hotel St George and found it to be a clean, friendly hotel in a super location. As mentioned in other reviews the walls are thin and I could hear the loud snores coming from the next room but at least the area around the hotel was quiet, so pleased I didn't go for... more

This hotel is small, but in a fantastic location. Just walk 2 minutes down to the main stretch of O'Connell St. Buses, taxis, tours are easy, parking out back. Rooms are very small, as is the bathroom, but service is good and priced very well. Take the city tours just down the street and the airport bus is practically at... more

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the St George's hotel and it was great. The rooms were a good size, clean and we had fresh towels each day. The location was really good it's a 5 min walk to lots of shops, restaurants and bars also museums, River Liffy and other attractions. The Dublin tour bus... more

This hotel was in the perfect location, not far from temple bar (about 10-15 minute walk) with lots of pubs, bars & resteraunts on the way, but far enough away so you couldn't hear the music till all hours. Like other reviews the walls where very thin, and having to listen to the German snoring like a neumatic drill for... more

I'd probably have given Hotel St. George a more neutral score, but the location is so spot-on and the service well above average that I had to give it a slightly better mark. Location was perfect. I was able to take the "Airlink" airport bus to within a block of the hotel. Also the "City Tours" hop on/off bus begins... more

Excellent stay at this great little hotel. The hotel is bang on in the centre of dublin. The express bus from the airport drops you off close by and the hotel is located at the top of O'connell street. The hotel provides all that is needed for a nice short break. Staff are very helpful. Room size is sufficient for... more
