My family and I stayed at the Laimer Hof the last week in june 2008. For those people wondering whether the hotel is out of the way or inconvenient, I would tell you not to worry and just book it. Even though you have to walk 5 minutes to the tram, then ride for 10 minutes to the core of the city, this hotel is worth it. It is in a nice quiet suburban neighborhood but the rooms are large and the bathrooms are huge by European hotel standards. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Laimer Hof in Munich. The owners and staff are extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. The hotel is located in an old home and is charming. While some parts of it are a bit worn, it was very clean and comfortable. Would suggest an upgrade of the towels, however they were always clean.... more
