We booked this hotel based on the tripadvisor reviews and price per night, $169 plus taxes. We stayed for three nights over fourth of July weekend. The room was adequate size. The bed was comfortable. The room was very well kept. They could use a few small touches to make it even nicer like a mini refrigerator or mini bar.... more

I just cannot say anything bad about our experience at this hotel. My wife and I stayed here on a Sunday and a Monday night at the end of June. Location was perfect - a few blocks to the museums on the National Mall - next door to the Spy Museum and a block from the National Portrait Gallery/Museum of... more

This hotel is in a great location, Penn Quarter of Washington DC. Restaurants, theatres, shopping, bars, all around. The room was very clean, bright, and quiet, even though they were doing construction at the time. Standard room, not too huge, no fridge, but satisfactory. more

I agree with the others- this was a nice hotel to stay in. Stayed for 2 nights and we were able to walk to everything. The staff is especially friendly and helpful. Even the valet attendants were kind and helpful. Only problem we faced was in the handicapped room the bathroom needed some repairs in the shower and the ceiling... more

This hotel was WONDERFUL-everything that we were looking for! I can honestly say that the other reviewers were correct when they said the location was wonderful. My husband and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend to see the sights around D.C. The location was amazing - only 1 block from the Chinatown/Gallery Place metro stop - super convenient to... more

Stayed here for part of Memorial Day weekend. I work in DC and live in the suburbs but my husband and wanted to stay in town for a special weekend. I picked the Courtyard because of the location. We went to see the play, Julius Caesar, at the Shakespeare Theater's Sidney Harmon Hall, which is only about three blocks away... more

We stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and the location can't be beat. The hotel itself is nice. The pool is very small, but our 9 year old didn't care. We ate at the breakfast buffet in the morning and it was very good. I highly recommend it as the price is very good for DC. The staff... more

My husband and I just stayed at the Courtyard Washington Convention Center for a long weekend (2 nights.) I had a Marriott voucher for a free night but it was limited to one of their "category 4" properties and, frankly, this one was it. We paid for the second night and got a very good AAA rate. So, all in... more

We went for a weekend getaway that just happened to coincide with Cherry Blossom Festival. We were able to check in early. The room was comfortable, clean, everything in working order. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. Complimentary coffee, tea, hot cocoa in the lobby. Safety a priority and appreciated. Hotel is centrally located...we walked everywhere, but metro... more

We just returned home from a quick Spring Break trip to DC. We stayed at the Courtyard - COnvention Center on Marriott points. The location is great. 3 blocks from the Mall and right across the street from the Spy Museum. The hotel is a former bank building, so the room layouts are little odd, but our room was fine... more
