The hotel is located in a great section of town for sightseeing and is conveniently located on top of a Metro stop. The room was clean but lacks a seperate 'getting ready' area outside the bathroom. The room also does not have a DVD player, it seems that this is becoming more and more common but I'm sure they want... more

We have just returned from a 9 day stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The property has a very nice location, walking distance to the Metro, and the atrium is quite stunning. Upside: 1) Centrally located to everything in DC, either by foot, Metro, or rental car. 2) Front Desk Staff was always helpful, and efficient, so there were rarely... more

Excellent hotel, fine location, good staff and service, the food was fine, the sports bar was a great hagn out. The room was good, nice view, good working space and clean. I enjoyed my stay and will be back. The place didn't feel crowded even while it was full for conventions during my stay, the staff remained friendly and helpfull,... more

Stayed here for a conference with a couple extra days for personal. Was within easy walking distance of the National Mall area, Chinatown, etc. Great conference facility. Didn't take too long to find my way around the property. Room was very comfortable and bed was comfy. Metro is located within the complex. Don't even have to go outside to catch... more

My family and I stayed for a week. Very comfortable, very clean with responsive service. Knew our names by the time we left. Quite convenient to tourist areas and very close metro a big plus. Excellent bellmen. Restaurant quite good, but other good restaurants within one block good too. more

This is a great hotel. The location was the best in DC, you could walk to everything. The room was small but very clean and the beds were great. We stayed there 5 nights with two kids and we had one of the best vacations we have ever had, The hotel resturants are not very kid friendly but there are... more

I was in DC for just a night this past weekend. Check in was very easy. The staff was very helpful with all of my questions about the area. I believe the woman's name that checked me in was Diana. She was very professional. If you drive there ask for valet parking. It is $26 for a night. If you... more

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel is "Grand" in many ways! The hotel contains countless services for a comfortable stay. There is a deli near the main lobby that has quick snacks and provides for an affordable breakfast. If you are seeking a nice sit down meal, I would recommend venturing the city... more

During the first week of June, I traveled to Washington DC for a conference which was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. Overall, it was a very nice hotel. The lobby is large and a great people watching area. It features an overlook to the floor below where the restaurant is as well as a piano on an "island" in... more

We generally LOVE the Hyatt product. In fact, we own a Hyatt timeshare and usually seek out the Hyatt product if we have the chance when we travel. This trip to DC has been the MOST amazing disappointment! We are staying here for a week. We used points for the first 5 days, as we had nearly 100,000 that we... more
