When reading some of the other reviews, I was slightly worried that I had picked the Mayflower for our short family vacation to DC. Wow am I glad that we decided to stay here! First, we stayed over the weekend and the hotel was running a special -- we paid about half of the other going rates in the city... more

My husband and I stayed at the Mayflower with our three daughters for three nights. We booked a room on the Club Level. We were not advised upon booking that the Club was only open for breakfast two of the three mornings of our stay, and only open in the evening one evening (since we arrived too late upon arrival.)... more

We stayed here with our kids ages 9-14-16. I was mildly concerned about the lack of a swimming pool and the fact that it was categorized as a "business" hotel, but my fears were unfounded as there were many families there and we did not feel out of place at all. The pool was absolutely not missed! However, if your... more

The Mayflower Hotel has incredibly attentive service from the time your arrive curbside and thoughout your stay. They make extra efforts at every turn. They were so accomodating that I would have been happy not to venture away from the hotel. I had a standard room with a king bed ($218). The room much like a NYC hotel are not... more

This hotel is in a great location for business travel or a tourist visit - about four blocks' easy walk from the White House. Farragut North Metro station is at the end of the block (good news / bad news - Metro goes lots of places and is very convenient, but this Red Line section is among the busiest in... more

I recently stayed at the Mayflower for a conference over 3 nights. Check in and check out were both a breeze. The lobby was very well appointed and most of the meeting rooms were as well. The room I had was on the 4th floor in a corner. There was another room right next to me in a small hallway... more

My husband and I stayed at the Mayflower last week for the 4th time. The hotel is in a great central location. The staff is terrific. We always stay in a suite which is so nice and quiet. I love to stay at the Mayflower for a good night's sleep. The hotel rooms have been recently renovated. Can't wait to... more

I stayed at the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel (part of the Marriott chain) for three nights at the end of May 2008. It was fabulous! Even though my room (624) was a little small, it was clean, comfortable and had that fabulous Marriott bed. This room was at the end of a hallway, with two windows overlooking 17th street where it... more

For a family of 5, our Deluxe room was just that. 2 Double beds and a roll away ($20 a night) was perfect. There were plenty of places to store our luggage. Our bathroom had 2 sinks with plenty of counter space...the best part was a separate shower and bath/shower. (If you have teenaged daughters, you can appreciate this) Yes,... more

Stayed two nights at the Renaissance after getting it on PL. Saturday night was extremely noisy as others have suggested. We did not have the AC unit but instead had a room with the little "hallway" and two rooms off of it. Not even extremely noisy neighbors but could hear them talking and lightly laughing until after 2 am. This... more
