Even though it has all been said, our stay in Dar Silsila was perfect. Even when there was a problem, which is not even worth mentioning Jean Patrick went all out to solve things, making you feel like it was never a problem. We stayed here twice first on the roof top suite and later on a regular room, the... more

We stayed for 4 nights in June and had a fantastic time. The Riad is beautiful, maintained to a high standard and the staff couldn't have been more pleasent or accomodating. Don't be put off by the walk to the Riad (we were a bit worried about where we were headed) - once you get through the doors you will... more

Jean patrick and his staff were outstanding in every way. The staff were always warm and friendly and efficient, happy in their jobs and always looking to meet our needs. We were keen to learn how to cook chicken tagine. Our chef instructed us, allowed us to watch the preparation and explained the ingredients which we ate later at dinner.... more

We had an excellent stay at this Riad. From beginning to end, everything went as planned. Jean Patrick made every effort to help us make the most out of our visit and his staff were exceptionally warn, welcoming and professional (trilingual!) The Riad is beautifully decorated and a real oasis of calm in the Medina. Its location is ideal -... more

We stayed with Jean Patrick for 5 nights. We stayed in two rooms as he did his best to accommodate us at short notice. The first being the Sun Terrace room which was heaven for me. On the roof we had loads of space and privacy plus the advantage to be able to walk out directly onto the terrace and... more

We stayed at this delightful riad for a short break in May. We arranged to be collected from the airport and after walking through a dark narrow alley we entered the beautiful courtyard of the hotel. We had an attractive suite that was stylishly decorated in traditional moroccan style. The bathroom had colourful tiles but like others have commented, the... more

Great riad run by owner who's always present to be of service. He's always ready to dispense advice, take care of housekeeping stuff (e.g., picking up bus tickets for us, booking activities, etc.), and even provide medication to sick guests. Rooms were great as was the location - a few minutes' walk from the famous Marrakech souks and Jemaa al-Fnaa.... more

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in Marrakech and were very happy with our accommodation. We chose Riad Silsila because its reviews were very good. We booked 2 standard deluxe rooms which were clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and very tranquil. The owner of this lovely Riad , Jean Patrick was flexible, pleasant and accommodated all our requests. His... more

We stayed in Riad Dar Silsila for 4 nights and had the most wonderfull time! The staff are very friendly, always try to help you. The owner himself makes up the definition of friendliness. He helped us with restaurant reservations, stepped in when our booking to the Atlas Mountains didn't work out and offered a cheaper trip there. We stayed... more

What can I add that previous reviewers haven't already covered. Dar Silsa was a little piece of heaven tucked away in the heart of the Medina. Nothing was too much trouble for Jean Patrick, Abdul and the staff, booking transfers, restaurants and even giving us a lift to Al Fassia the all female restauarant, which was wonderful. The standard of... more
