This hotel is near the Sheraton and the Westin in Sukhumvit Bangkok (useful for taxi drivers who may not know the property as it just opened November 2007). The rooms are very clean, they have a modern decor, and there is a 24 hour cafe on site. This is a Carlson property, and they seem quite used to English speakers.... more

Brand new boutique hotel – only 7 rooms per floor, two being corners. Get corner room for more space - - corner rooms ending in 01 are better than those ending in 07 IMHO (slightly more room area, better layout, etc). I have not been to Bangkok in 13 years and the Sukhumvit area is so much safer and cleaner than when I was there last. Park Plaza Sukhumvit is a nice clean spacious hotel.
