This is a lovely hotel excellent rooms, very family orientated though. The sister resort Casa marina beach was also very nice. A great selection of food and drink was always on offer, alot of choice and alway a lot of space in the dining hall. We traveled to the Dominican Republic on the 8th June with Thomas Cook from Gatwick and had a blast!! In truth, the only downside to the whole trip was the flight itself. Stayed at the Casa Marina Reef for a week and had a really fantastic time! The rooms were fairly basic but all had a balcony overlooking the pool and air con etc. There is a second adjoining resort called 'Casa Marina Beach' which i would avoid as it seemed to be lacking character but the Casa Marina Reef was excellent.... more
