The hotel was excellent and a nice getaway from the crowds and rowdiness in the drunken cruisers in Key West. Go into town after the last cruise ship leaves, and you'll have a great experience. We really liked this one. Our 2 bedroom cottage came up right against the sand of the beach which is gorgeous, and is 50 steps from the restaurant and 100 steps from the pool. The cottages are extremely nice (2 bedrooms, 3 baths, nice decor, etc.), the shuttle from the Westin Harbor is no problem (they give you a guest card at the Westin you need to show due to Sunset Key being a private island), the food is fantastic, but this resort is all about the money rather than genuine customer service.
