Not too much to add to previous reviews. We had a room overlooking the interior courtyard and we thought it was quite spacious, but looking at the floorplan on the door revealed that there are other courtyard rooms that are a bit smaller. Our bathroom was not small, but there was very little space in the toilet area. A very... more

We were in Chicago last week to catch a Cubs night game, and picked the Days Inn Lincoln Park mostly for its price (about $140 including taxes for a double-bed room) and proximity to Wrigley Field. Although I expected only the most basic lodging for that price in this area, we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality... more

We had a great time at the Days Inn in June. We parked around the corner and it was an easy walk to the hotel entrance. (No need to bother with valet service.) The front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. The manager directed us to a great pizza place, Lou Malnotti's (sp?). He said that it is better... more

This is a nice location in an increasingly gentrifying neighborhood. (I was sorry to see that a little locally-owned health food store across the street was replaced by one of those "upscale edgy" clothing chains) You're about 20 minutes via CTA from Watertower, and 25-30 from Union Station, counting the time it takes to wait for the bus or train.... more

I have been staying at the Days Inn for years. The current staff is amazing. They are very helpful and they will go the extra mile. The hotel has been rehabbed over the years and is in it's best condition it has been in. Get a business room if you want a little bigger room with a little nicer experience.... more

The room was very clean and cozy. Bed linen and pillows extremely comfortable. Coffee maker, iron, ironing board, safe, hair dryer, microwave, refridgerator, and snacks all included. Definetely would stay there again. Reasonable price for the location. Valet service kindof confusing, still a great hotel. more

This Days Inn is a good value. Rooms are quiet, at least if you are not facing the street. A variety of interesting restaurants in the area, such as the Creperie and Pars Cove. A short walk to buses which go downtown. Unless you feel the need for valet parking, park around the corner at the Century Parking Lot and... more

I stay here exclusively and get homesick when I am not able to make a trip to chicago! The staff and management are the best. The breakfast is great, rooms are too, and its the best bargain in terms of location. Most people think staying on Michigan Ave is the thing, but in terms of things to do at night,... more

Room was a little small, nice view of the building next door and fire escape. The hotel was in a good location, close to a lot of shops, theaters, and The metro club, wrigley field. That is why i chose to go again, to see the cubs lose to the cards. Hopefully it will be warmer! 20 bucks a day for valet... more

We booked 5 nights through choosechicago.com and got a nice rate (under $100). The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and fairly spacious. Best bed I've had in a hotel. Free breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly and the Lincoln Park location was convenient (15 minutes downtown by bus). Certainly not a full-service, downtown hotel, but more than adequate... more
