The hotel property is a classic airport hotel, designed for the traveler taking a flight the next day. Located in a nearly industrial area our window looked out onto the freeway with speeding trucks and cars. They could not be heard because of the noisy air conditioner. Furnishing are pretty basic, and while the hotel guides brags about minibars in... more

I stayed here with a group of three friends while in town to see some baseball games. If you have never been to Chicago, this was my first trip, downtown hotels are very expensive. This place averaged us about $100 a night using my AAA discount and booking directly through Hamptoninn.com. The hotel is about a 5 minute drive from... more

I stayed here one night. They were fixing something in the front lobby but it really didn't distract from anything my group was trying to do. They have a little shop with snacks and drinks which is good. The room was great, cable TV choices were plentiful, and they made (hot & fresh) a significant # of cookies in the... more

I chose this hotel because I was flying into O'Hare late and didn't want to get lost getting to a hotel closer into town. Well, turns out I did get lost getting to this hotel, as it's a bit far away from the rental car area. Check-in was so-so; it was done by someone who smelled strongly of cigarettes. He... more

I stayed at this hotel when I went to see Lollapalooza in Chicago back in 2005. The hospitality at this hotel was more than I would expect from an average Hampton Inn. It was well above average in my opinion, particularly because the reception clerk helped us get around, something I would expect a hotel staff member could do. I... more

This is a very good, clean, standard airport motel, but what makes it special are the super-comfy beds and soft pillows. Special mattresses are used in all rooms, and we had the 2 most comfortable nights ever (we stayed overnight on arrival in the USA and again before departure). Our room on each occasion was a deluxe king room which was a decent... more

Extras like free hot breakfast and complimentary wireless internet, makes this a great value. The hotel has 24-hour shuttle service to OHare where guests can also take the blue line to downtown. There is also shuttle service to nearby restaurants. The Cloud 9 Bedding is comfy. The fitness facility is very small, but got the job done for a workout... more

My husband and I could not afford the pricey hotels in downtown Chicago, so we chose to stay out by the O'Hare airport and take the Blue line into town each weekday of our stay (8 days). Our stay at this Hampton Inn was great. They had a nice buffet (continental style) breakfast each day that included one hot entree.... more

I found this hotel to be a typical Hampton Inn. It was a little bit older, and the rooms were a little small even for 1 person. The staff was helpful and allowed me to check in early. The hotel is located in an industrial area near the airport and I-294. I found the shuttle was reliable even with odd... more
