The Shilo Inn wasn't the best hotel. We came to Springfield for our Special Olymipcs State Basketball Tournament for three days and two nights. When we entered the room, the room wasn't the best either. The TV was okay and the beds were comfortable, but the pillows weren't the the fluffiest. There were some problems: We're suppose to have four... more

We arrive and the staff are great. Very Friendly and helpful. I had to attend my mother's funeral. The room had a nice pillowtopp mattress. We were given a late check out to attend my mothers funeral. Thank you. And we liked the Elmers right next door. Thank you for taking care of me at my sad time. more

We had a group of 15 people so we reserved 5 suites. They were very roomy and comfortable. The location is great because of the closeness to the mall and numerous restaurants. The building doesn't look fabulous on the inside or outside, but I was very impressed with everything else about the place. We will stay there every time we... more

We stayed at the Eugene Shilo Inn December 8th . The hallways were dimmly lit. And the rooms have appliances that are 1980 or before. The room above us was quite noisy. The pool was closed because it was to cold. They had a buisness center that had a computer and a copier. It was all one room which was... more

This place is a dump! I stayed one night as all the rooms in Eugene/Springfield sold out because of football game. They still use metal keys a very unsafe practice. There cannot be a blub over 40 watts in the room, I could not read anything. The room I had (174) had a TV at a right angle to the... more

The Shilo is one of the few choices in the Eugene/Springfield area between the expensive full service hotels and the college town "hot sheet" motels. The hotel is older but the rooms are clean and fresh, the bathroom was pretty big and newly renovated and the bathtub is huge. The room's age is also evidenced by the lack of outlet... more

My husband and I stay a night or two in the Eugene area about five times a year. We used to stay at the Best Western Grand Manor, but the price kept going up, the service kept going down, and the towels kept getting thinner and thinner. This time we tried the Shiloh Inn. Yes, this is definitely an older... more

Poorly maintained motel. Our toliet ran and made very loud noises all night. No point in having free wi-fi if there isn't a place to plug in your laptop without unpluging the bed lamps. No plug in near the tiny desk either. Halls reeked of smoke and very dark. more

Stayed here January 2007 for three nights at about $65/night. This is an older motel property and not a luxury hotel. With that said, it exceeded my expectations because the room and common areas were clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The furniture is dated, but the paint, carpet, bathroom tile, bedding, and wall art are new.... more

My boys and I stayed at the Shilo for a couple of days in July. We were in a kitchen suite. I thought our suite was bright, clean and comfortable. My boys, Oscar and Calvin, enjoyed the outdoor pool. The staff was very courteous. We would stay there again. Lake Oswego mom. more
