On Saturday, August 09 2008, my wife and I stayed at Days Inn Brooklyn, NY. We arrived around 3 A.M. to find that the inn was a flop house. Firstly, upon entering our room we were bombarded with a foul odor. Secondly, it was obvious that the room had not been vacuumed because we found pieces of tissue as well... more

Let me start off by saying "if you're staying in a Days Inn in Sunset Park Brooklyn, you don't have high expectations". I was here on business for one night. Starting with the positives, the staff is wonderful; nicest Days Inn staff I ever interacted with. Also, it was, for the most part, very clean and mainly quiet. Ok now... more

I decided to write this review as I listen to the crane drop metal beams right outside my window. The neighborhood, as written by other people, is not bad. It is a typical brooklyn neighborhood, diverse crowd, a couple of run down buildings, gentrification in process. Walking from the train station (which is about 4 blocks away), I encountered construction... more

Walked in, 10 year old used the bathroom, saw the clerk behind thick glass that looks bullit proof with a slot cut out in it. Saw the area it was in that I would'nt even walk in, and left without staying. Also, I was told by someone who did stay that the building shook every time the subway went by.... more

I stayed at this Days Inn during a trip to find an apartment and employment in NYC. I was very reluctant to stay there, but decided it was in a good location and I'd tough it if it was awful. To my surprise, the place was actually nice. Yes, the rooms are VERY small and my friend and I could... more

I was terrified by some reviews such as those about the Pennsylvania hotel and other downtown hotel so i decided to look in Brooklyn. and now i think some people... more

This was a weekend trip to an extremely nice small hotel in the center of Brooklyn. Access to the subway was a short three blocks away and very convenient. There were 30-50 restaurants within a 2 or three block radius of the hotel. While most of these were ethic in nature, one could easily find good food within walking distance.... more

We are planning a SOCA show at the Afrika House in Brooklyn, NY on June 22, 2007, and needed to make final arrangements with the band and artists. We booked a room in another hotel but were told we had to pay $279 +tax for the day because we were arriving at 4:00AM, and had to pay another $279+ xax... more

We booked this hotel for 10 nights, we stayed for 1 night. When we arrived at the hotel we noticed it was in need of repair. The night time reception staff were soooo unpleasant and unfriendly. They did'nt even welcome us- the guy just said 'yes' when we approached the reception with our cases. We booked two rooms for 5... more

Found this Days Inn hotel at Brooklyn through the internet because I wanted to spend my last 3 nights of my New York 9 days holiday at Brooklyn. What a nightmare it was. Their website say they have free high-speed wireless internet access, it’s free alright that is if you can have access. I’m an Internet Engineer and the way... more
