We only stayed one night at the Country Inn and Suites, but were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the look of the hotel and rooms and the great price. The warm cookies at the front desk were a nice touch. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and attractive and it was only a short walk to... more

We stayed at the Country Inn & Suites for three days in mid June. Someone recently wrote a review that this hotel was not a #1 in New Orleans. I highly disagree. True, the hotel does not have all the flash as some higher priced upper crust hotels, but it is the people that make the difference. The staff are... more

Stayed one night on a business trip at the Country Inn & Suites near the French Quarter. A really neat hotel. Renovated from historic buildings, you can still see the old structures that are weaved into this new hotel. My room had 12'+ ceiling height and the walls were thick block walls. The lobby shows the old beams from the... more

We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed our visit. The location was wonderful, as it was an easy walk to the French Quarter. Or, you can take the trolley by the aquarium (a really easy walk) and ride to the end of the line, which lets you off at the French Market. Our room had two queen beds... more

Chose this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. First room we were given had stains on the carpet, dirty bedding, and was poorly lit. We asked to transfer rooms. Our request was honored without a question. The next room was great with a wall of floor to ceiling windows, 12 foot ceilings, and was clean. Breakfast was good each... more

Location: Not too far off the Quarter but still have to cross Canal St to get there and a easy walk. Close to Harrahs Casino and a great hole in the wall restaurant, Mothers, that is a must eat, and right around the corner. Try Lil Dizzy's for lunch... you will like. Good and cheap. Of course, Commanders Palace is... more

We stayed there from Saturday to Wednesday and were thoroughly satisfied with our choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can get annoying when you have to compete with fellow travelers for microwaves. Location is great, short walk to the French Quarter, Convention Center, etc. Some of the cities most popular restaurants nearby such as... more

We just returned from 4 Days in New Orleans. This hotel is fairly new with great rooms and a wonderful complimentry breakfast. Our only problem was with the Valet Parking - which charges $24.00 a day! On the second day we noticed my daughters ipod was missing from the car. When we confronted the valet manager he said their was... more

I just spent a long weekend at the Country Inn and Suites with some friends last weekend, and I was highly impressed. I admit I was a bit skeptical at first since I got a rate that was a steal considering some of the properties a short distance away and their overinflated room rates. The front desk staff was very... more

Booked this hotel based on location, reviews, and price. Stayed 3 nights for a toal of $250. Room was nice, clean, and met expectations, which were basically a comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Front desk people weren't very helpful at all as far as providing directions, suggested things to see, etc., they would refer your to the trip desk who... more
