I have fond memories of this area from visiting Yabucoa as a child. I stayed here in April of 2004 with my 6 yr old son at Palmas de Lucia for 8 nights and enjoyed the facilities, warm and welcoming staff, and cleanliness of the rooms. Mu husband and I stayed at this parador for 4 nights and we were totally wrong picking this place. Very very dirty beach - it is not swimable and you cannot lay down or walk on it. My wife and I spent one night here (paid $105, includes tax) and very much enjoyed it. We had a roomy second-story room that was nicely furnished and air-conditioned.
