My boyfriend and I were in Guanica for my friend's wedding down the road and decided to stay here because of the affordable price and artsy feel to it..we weren't disappointed! We stayed in the Cibeline studio and had our own back patio to boot! The room was super clean and unique and David walked us down to a beautiful... more

We spent four days and three nights at Mimi's and fell in love with the place. It is located at one of the most beautiful spots on the island, a dry forest reserve surrounded by spectacular beaches, beautiful palms, flourishing mango trees, sweet quenepa trees, and amazing paths. When we first arrived, we were greeted joyfully by its owners David... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mimi's Guest House. David and Mark are thoughtful and accommodating hosts who did absolutely everything to make us comfortable. It's unusual to find hosts who will walk you to the beach (just to make sure you get there alright), bring you tropical fruits, cocos frios, limes for your drinks, etc., and profer such good... more

My Husband and I travel a lot and truly enjoy vacationing in the Caribbean. We traveled to Puerto Rico for the first time several years ago and stayed in Rincon. We had a terrible time and experience and as a result said we’d never come back to PR. A year later some good friends of ours went to Guanica, PR... more

Mimi's was recommended by the owners of a guest house that we were visiting in another part of Puerto Rico. My husband and I wanted a completely relaxing and laid back vacation and we definitely found it at Mimi's. We booked the room for three nights, but I wish we had been able to stay longer. The owners, David and... more

We also happened on Mimi's almost by accident for 5 days over New Year's. Fabulous trip - incredibly beautiful area with long beaches and calm turquoise waters. Mimi's was an oasis of complete peace and quiet...punctuated only by the fabulous hosts' efforts to ensure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Each room is individually decorated in colorful... more

My girlfriend and stayed at Mimi's for 4 nights at the end of March, and absolutely loved our time there. Mimi's itself is exactly as described: a guest house (not a full service hotel), with clean, spacious, and well appointed rooms. We really enjoyed being able to cook our own food, both in our studio's kitchen and outside on Mimi's... more

We spent just two nights at Mimi's Guest House and were delighted with our stay. The guest house is at the end of a quiet road and has interesting trails that can be accessed right from the grounds. It's an easy drive to nice beaches and other attractions such as La Paguera and the Guanica Dry Forest reserve. A great... more
