This is not your "run of the mill" type of place. It has eclectic, funky and fun decor. The food is creative and fresh, fresh, fresh. Great for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Wonderful Greek salad, delicious mojitos, great steaks, interesting appetizers. This place attracts all sorts of folks, not just those "fringe" types as other reviews have suggested. more

One of my favorite restaurants in Gainesville. Not fancy, but always great food. Good place to go with group as the menu has something for vegetarians or meat-eaters. more

Really good vegetarian/vegan stuff...and meat too. Haha. Plantain chips, mango salsa, and sweet potato fries are the best appetizers. more

It makes a very pleasent change to eat in a restaurant which has an imaginative menu and the food is really cooked from scratch. The food is highly over-rated, but as a bar it is probably one of the best in Gainesville to avoid the young, stupid crowds that are common to Gainesville. more

Open to 2 A.M. has awesome Tofu Triangles, try them with honey mustard. Crowded and noisy on weekends but it's better than cooking your own late night snack. more
