Yeah, that's plenty of time, as long as you aren't changing airlines and connecting to an international destination. It's a big airport, but easy to navigate.

I would check and see what the on time rating is for Air Tran coming into Atlanta.

Certain airlines advise an hour minimum on connecting flights, so I am very wary of connections under that time.

If the worst happens and you are late for your connecting flight, then Air Tran will do their best to put you on the next one.

However, with the amount that air fuel costs at the moment, it would appear that many of the airlines are slimming down their fleets, cutting routes and generally making the skies less busy.
