Got what you paid for

It was an ok stay. Air conditioner was making all kinds of noise and froze one day. I tried to save money and would say it was everything that people said in the reviews. I would go back.

For the price of this motel, it wasn’t bad. The continental breakfast was a complete joke. Basically just donuts. I wouldn’t count on it if I were to go back. The room was decent, but we had an issue with the maid service. We returned to our room at 2:00 for my 2-year-old son to nap, and they still hadn’t cleaned our room. They came to clean in the middle of his nap.

A roomy, nice, low-cost place to stay

We just returned from a 6 day stay, and have to say that we were quite happy with our room, and the stay in general. We’ve never before stayed in a Super 8, but because we wanted to save some money, and having read the overall-quite-positive reviews for this particular location online, we decided to give it a try. Our room was quite large... larger than any other we’ve stayed at in Anaheim... which worked nicely because we were traveling with children. Our oldest daughter didn’t want to sleep on the bed with her sister, so we had an inflatable mat and sleeping bag on the floor and still had plenty of room to walk around. We rented a fridge and microwave for convenience, which cost an additional $8 (total) per day, but was worth it for us. Breakfast was very basic, with no fruit, but the heads-up we had previously read to get there early before donuts run out held true for us as well. Fortunately we also had some cereal and oatmeal in the room. One funny thing to note: I think the showerhead installers must be of extremely small size, because the showerhead in our bathroom was directly in line with my nose, and I’m 5’7". If you’re extremely tall, that could be an issue (if you don’t like baths). All in all, we would definitely stay there again. It was clean, comfortable, and we saved enough daily on our room rate to pay for dinner each night.

Great service!

My children and I stayed here for 4 nights. When I first walked in the lobby (3 hours prior to checking) I was a little worried as the front desk seemed like something from 1970. The guys at the front desk where wonderful!!! They let me check in my room early and helped me get my tickets to disneyland. One less line to stand in. The room was a little older, but very clean. The AC was great. We had to turn the temp down because it would get to cold. Everytime we needed help finding something the people at the front desk where very helpful. As a single mom with children I felt very safe here. Can’t wait to go back.

Little outdated but good for the price.

Well the motel was outdated but for the price it was just fine. The free breakfast was the same thing for the five days we were there. They need to upgrade. But great price and very close to alot of attractions. They also left a travlers guide that was very helpful.

Great Location and a Competitive Price

Over all hotel wasn’t bad. Great location 10 minutes walk to Disneyland and plenty of restaurants minutes away. Pictures of rooms on website I’m sure were taken after remodel, their a little run down but not bad. Only complaint is that the maids did not do a very thorough job of cleaning and restocking our room each day.

I’d go back

Don’t expect anything but the basics. The motel does have a nice pool and is very close to some great restaurants. Only a 10 min walk to Disneyland and California Adventures. Evening fireworks can easily be seen from the comfort of your motel room (depending on room location).

No frills but cheap and clean

I was a little wary booking our 2 nights at the Super 8 but we were tagging Disney onto an already expensive Southern California vacation so we needed to cut some corners. I was plesantly surprised by how clean the hotel (and pool) was and how short the walk was to the Disney complex. We were able to take mid-day breaks at Disney and eat lunch at one of the restaurants close to the motel, which also saved us some cash. The rooms are not large and there are definately no frills, but if you are looking to do Disney for less money I would recommened checking this place out.

Good deal, excellent location

This is more of an inn than a hotel. This is a great price if you don’t need all the frills of a 4- or 5-star hotel. It’s ideally located (very close to Disneyland) on a nice street (can walk outside to nearby restaurants, the theme park, etc). There’s even a car rental place within walking distance. Why pay more for a room if you’re only going to sleep in it? I’d go back and definitely recommend it to others.

Filthy carpet, funky smell. Will never stay at a Super 8 again.

Just the basics

If you’re looking to save money and want a no-frills hotel, this is the place for you. There was no microwave, fridge, or ironing board (for those things, they would’ve charged an extra $8 per night). However, there was free wi-fi, basic but adequate breakfast (cereal, juices, coffee, and toast). Also, the laundry was very cheap and its only a 10 min walk to Disney. There are better hotels in the area, but I’m sure they’re more expensive. It’s a safe area with plenty of restaurants so if you don’t care about the above things, this place is fine. If you want more frills and more comfort, look elsewhere.

Easy to get to Disneyland

We were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep that was close to Disneyland. The people at the front desk were very helpful in directing us to restaurants and Disney. The walk to the park is easy. Even with 2 excited/tired young children we made it in about 15 minutes. The room was clean, with the exception of the carpets which could use a good shampooing. We loved the pool and hot tub and took advantage of the rooftop to watch the fireworks. It was exactly what we expected for the price.

Pretty good for the Price

This was not a bad hotel for how cheep it was. It was only like 3 blocks from the main entrance to Disneyland, and it was close to a bunch of food places. The hotel has a pool which was nice when it got really hot, and the rooms had AC in them which was also really nice. The breakfast was not the greatest. it was pretty much coffee and toast, so I suggesst you bring some breakfast foods either with you or pickk some up when you get there. but there is no mini fridge in the room, so you can’t bring any milk. Over all it was a pretty good time.

Can’t wait to go back

The motel was reasonably priced . With a new mall opening up just a half a block away with excellent restaurants. my suggestion is the cheesecake factory . Bubba Gump’s is a must see. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi were great at the end of a long day. You can also see the Disneyland fireworks at the poolside.

This was a great location Disneyland the beach. Disneyland was just a 10 minute walk We rented a convertible Mustang and were able to go to Huntington Beach which use only about 15 miles away . lots of things to do and it wasn’t that crowded .

wouldnt really call it SUPER 8 i would say more like OK 8...

the stay was good. had a bed and clean towels! and close to where we needed to be.The one thing that i do have to say is that the "continental" breakfast could use an up grade! i wouldnt call donuts, cereal and juice "continental"! and for all you people who get a room in the far back good luck getting your breakfast back to your room, when you have to hold a bowl of cereal a cup of juice and a cup of milk. forget about it if you have more than one person to get breakfast for!

Good choice for the price

Motel is a good choice for the price. Walking distance to Disney.(about 1/2 mile walk) Good food choices close by. Basic room. No closet. Housekeeping "ok" even with nice tip left daily. Check in staff were wonderful. Helped with rental of fridge. Had it delivered right away. Pool and hot tub very nice, very clean. Breakfast is a joke. Poor coffee, toast, stale cereal and NO fruit. Breakfast only available from 7-9am. In room coffee brews only one cup at a time and is not very good. Shower had no water pressure and water ran hot than cold. If you are over 5’ 7", you will have to duck under shower head to wet your hair. Nice tile floor in bath area. Very nice beds. Noise not a problem. Friendly patrons. If you want good return for your dollar, book here, but for a few additional dollars, you may want to upgrade to another hotel

Rent a refridgerator for $8 dollars a day. Well worth it. You can buy groceries at the local Albertsons close by. Take a backpack full of snacks/sandwiches into Disney to save money. Bring good walking shoes. Great little pizza place at the corner of Katella and S. Harbor.Cheap

Just fine for the price

I stayed for one night to visit Disneyland. It’s very close to the main entrance, about a 10-15 minute walk. The room was clean and well-stocked. The only real problem I had was that I couldn’t get the hot water to work in the shower. There was hot water because it worked in the sink, but I think the shower knob was broken or something because all I could get in the shower was cold water. It was annoying having to take a cold shower, but I got through it. Overall I was satisfied with my stay, but only because the price was so low.

Clean and affordable

This hotel was close to restraunts and van lines for sightseeing. Clean and affordable, I would make this my choice next visit and certainly recommend to family and friends.

The room was ok. There needed to be some repairs done. The only way I could get the shower not to melt my skin off was to turn the water pressure down. The shower head had different settings which was nice. Overall a good place to stay for the money.

Comfortable and a pretty close walk to DisneyLand

It was a good place to stay---not a luxury hotel of course---but excellent for the price paid. I would recommend to anyone and would go back myself.

Dirty Super8

Carpet was so dirty, that it turned the bottom of my feet black. Could not get a wireless internet connection for 4 days.

YOu get what you pay for

The hotel is ok just to sleep there. IT was clean. The room smelled. THey had a good breakfast. I felt semi dirty there.
