we just arrived home after a week at the occidental allegrp playa dorado resort and we had an amazing time. we left here june 21 and left june 28 and let me tell you that week was not enough. at first i was kinda scared becuase of reading the other reviews but when we arrived i felt comfortable. my sister, and cousin went with me and we are from ages 19-24 and we like to party and also relax and we did it at this resort. if you wanna go to a club and dance go to COCO BONGO!! it within the resort like 3 minutes away walking distance or if you wanna sit and relax than go to the entertianment show inside the resort and they have kids games befroe the do the adult enertainment.
but the entertainment at night was awsome and there would be different entertainment going on every night. Winston and Camoflage are awsome, if you see this please email me [--] i never said bye at the bomb fire. ohh ya and Camoflage Vanessa said sorry for lying and shes mad at you!!

during the week the weather was awsome. and the food was good. we ate at the buffet and than we also booked at the other three resturants they had the grill, italian and mexican. we preffered the italian. the beach was clean. the people would come bye and clean it up every morning. but the people who walk around and asks to bye stuff can get annoying just say no gracias or pretend your sleeping and they will walk away. but other than that everyone was friendly and we meet so many people. we are most differently going back next year!!!i mean with the amount of money you cant bet it.

We just got back from the Dominican again, Still a beautiful place :=} We would give the hotel a 2 HOLA rating and the staff well most of them we would give them a 4 HOLA rating. The hotel needs alot of work and doesn't have much variety for us. Chairs are broken, plumbing leaks, air conditioning leaks, no screens on the windows, lots of mosquitos, bed was unconfortable, our key fit more doors, the appearance wasn't a 4 star in out eyes. The staff was very friendly, curtious,happy( well most of them) food was good just not open long, drinks were plenyfull and cold :=} We did have the honeymoon suite with a great view of the ocean. We met a family there that had us over to their home and cooked for us cheapie cheapie :=} almost free That was the best ay of our trip they were beautiful people His name is Leo and they will set up trips or take you fishing great time his number is 809 857 2256 We think everybody going there should contact him Over all we did have a great time and left them with yet another few families that will be saying HOLA alot :=} We will be going back in November to rate another place. Do you know of a place that would like to have a couple stay and have fun? We are openminded and wanting to have fun in the sun as well as meet other happy people. We went to the Dominican for the first time last year as the first year without kids. We went all inclusive for the first time too. The rooms were basic and corridors dim, but the communal parts of the hotel were lovely. The food was fantastic - buffet for all three meals, where you could choose hot stuff, or salads, cooked meats, a whole range of danish pastries for breakfast (or cooked breakfast). There was tons of fresh fruit available at every meal. All eat as much as you like. The only downside was the entertainment, bit like Butlins, but as we were up early we were tired by the evening. Beach was lovely and not overcrowded as in some resorts we have been to. Very good value for money in all and staff very polite, keen to please. However, if you want to go on trips, book direct as reps get 50% of the cost as commission, which is why the trips are usually around £40 per person....... The minibuses come to the hotel entrance to collect people, so catch the trip organisers then.

this was are 2nd time at the allegro loved it the 1st time,unfortunately the food was,nt so good 2nd time around . rooms are pretty basic but clean . hotel very crowed with dominicans at weekends so best to book trips and restaurants then. all staff very friendly ,entertainment staff and kids club staff are brilliant, evening bar staff great
