We stayed here two days on our trip to Thailand - once when we landed late at night & once the night before we left Bangkok. Both times we had a great experience.

The beds were huge and comfortable (good sheets), the service was amazing (guava juice when you check in & a flower on your pillow at night) and the breakfast was very good!

The bathroom was great - lots of products; Nice robes & slippers...

They even left a note on our pillow at night that said "Sleep well. Hope tomorrow is a perfect day".

Things to note:
- Airport shuttle is free & takes 5 minutes. Available every ten minutes...
-Cab to city is only 30 minutes (ask for metered cab) and came to less than $10USD.

We would definitely recommend staying at Novotel if you need to be close to the airport!

I stayed here overnight en route from Singapore to Helsinki. Brilliant hotel. I had a fantastic room, exceptionally comfortable, great bathroom. My room rate didn't include breakfast and I didn't bother as I knew there would be food aplenty on my flight. I did eat in the evening though after my arrival and the food was fine. The staff were very helpful and professional (indeed, almost too attentive!). Only niggle - wifi charges are a bit expensive.

As for comfort level, this is the best airport hotel I've ever stayed. Room has extremely comfortable bed and not as dark as some reviewers said. (In fact, I personally like the one-wall dark blue look -- helps me sleep better.) Bathroom is clean, has both tub and shower, and a glass window for those who can't get away from the TV. Pool is nice to swim in too, but doesn't open long enough for those who arrive late to the hotel. Traveling independently, so no trouble or hassle with check-in. Conveniently located across the airport, free shuttle pickup with a quick 10-min shuttle ride (goes around the parking lot to get to hotel).

Downside is there's ABSOLUTELY nothing nearby, so everything at the hotel is expensive. Unless you have an early flight to catch or a layover and needed to catch some zzz's, take a taxi and stay in Bangkok instead.

We had a one night stopover here on our way back to Australia. I consider the Novotel Suvarnabhumi to be the best airport hotel I have stayed at.

A regular free shuttle service transports you quickly to & from the airport.

The hotel is modern & attractive & the room we had was very comfortable with a well appointed bathroom. Check-in was quick & easy.

We had the buffet dinner in the evening & it was really very good. The quality & quantity was first class.

I would recommend this hotel without reservation.
