I ended extending my stay at the Casa Naranja as I enjoyed it that much.
It is a fantastic hotel, set around a lovely courtyard garden with fountain.Attention has been paid to the interior design and the beds are really comfy.My room , number 7, had its own private courtyard, and the breakfasts were great.
The staff are all really pleasant and helpful,even walking me to an ATM when I asked where the nearest one was.
The location is good too, there are loads of bars and places to eat close by, plus shops and nightclubs.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Managua, and I would definitely stay there again.

My wife and i found out about this hotel because we were renting a beach property in Pochomil beach. So the manager told us he also owned this boutiqe hotel in Managua. When we arrived to the airport and took a trasfer to the hotel, at first managua seemed shady, until I realized I was in the older part of the city, the part that was destroyed by the earthquake in 72. When we arrived to the hotel I was relieved. We were greeted was kindly by the receptionist and taken to our room. The room was spotless and the beds were all feathered. Let me tell you, better than home... They granted us a free cell phone during my stay, ¨in case we got lost¨. Freshened up and walked to the restaurants next door, they had some great peruvian food, went later to the budda bar, and so on.... The next morning we were having an all inclusive and delicious ¨ Very diversified Nicaragua breakfast¨. While we ate our gallo pinto, the humming birds were flying and tasting the garden flowers. I recommend this place highly. And the beach villa was really nice as well, very peaceful settings...and Nicargua itself was amazing. Dont be fooled by the media! these people are sarcastic, funny and very giving!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff - the waiter insisted that they had the best Gallo Pinto for breakfast in the country, and I must say that it was really good.
Our room was abit dark, but everyhting else was great. We will definitely stay there again.

A friend from the american embassy recomended this hotel to me, It is just like she said, Clean, Very good Nicaraguan breakfast and restaurant food, and very hospitable people... Very unique colonial decoration!
