“A quality all round hotel experience”

Hilton Sharm El Sheikh Fayrouz Resort

I have just come back from a weeks stay at this hotel and wholeheartedly agree with the reviews from here.
The stay was perfect from start to finish.

I travelled on my own because my girlfriend had to drop out but was made to feel so welcome by the staff and made many friends while there.

The location of the rooms mean that you are at worst a 2 minute walk from the private beach and i never had a problem getting a chair and a decent location whatever the time of day.

The rooms were exceptional and any problems i had were dealt with promptly (only problem i did have) food i ordered on room service didn't turn up. One phone call and i promptly got it and they waved the charge of the food and service.

The staff couldn't be more helpful from the waiters to the receptionists all very polite and couldn't do enough.

The Pirates bar is a must and located in the hotel, happy hour(s) every night with cheap drinks, and if you fancy a change a few minutes walk to the centre of Naama Bay.

All in all a quality stay and when i go again next year will definitely come back here.

“Good, but not great”

Hilton Sharm El Sheikh Fayrouz Resort

This is, indeed, a very nice hotel, but I would reserve five stars for downright perfection. They never restocked the minibar (which was never truly cold), and didn't get around to cleaning the room one day. The food was good, but nothing special, with the "Fish Restaurant" having the best service. Getting coffee at the breakfast buffet was a crapshoot: sometimes they notice you immediately, whereas other times you have to flag a waiter down. The quality of service was generally high, especially given the generally slow, somewhat surly service that is the norm in that part of the world. The Hilton does a good job of trying to meet international standards.

The location is excellent, as are the amenities available at the hotel, which range from scuba diving to windsurfing. We booked this place based solely on the Tripadvisor ratings, and we don't regret it.

“Best Beach in Sharm”

Hilton Sharm El Sheikh Fayrouz Resort

Forget everything you've ever read about the beaches in Egypt - the beach at the Hilton is so sandy people were building castles and you definitely didn't need to wear shoes to enter the sea! See my pictures.
There are about ten different reefs in the Hilton's area of the beach front - so even if you can't swim, you can still wade out and see an amazing variety of fish. There are also long stretches of open water for a 'proper' swim and a big reef further out for the more serious snorkellers/scuba divers. The Hilton owns about a kilometre of Naama Bay's beachfront and, even in the May half term, it was never crowded. At most, there were about twenty people in the water, even though it was a balmy 25c.
The hotel is lovely - every room is on ground-floor level. We had a king-size bed, a sofa and fantastic, meticulous room-service. The weather was about 95f from 6am to 9pm, with not a single cloud the entire week!

“Friendly people, great hotel”

Hilton Sharm El Sheikh Fayrouz Resort

I spent only two nights here and loved it. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast was fresh, well stocked, and well staffed. The rooms were a little old fashion, but they were large and it didn't matter much since we spent most of our time at the beach or the pool. I would definitely return.

“Superb Location & Beach”

Hilton Sharm El Sheikh Fayrouz Resort

May 20, 2008
15/15 found this review helpful

This was a fabulous place to visit.. Everyone we came across from gardeners, room attendants, bar staff, reception etc etc were warm, friendly and very willing. The hotel beach is by far the biggest & best on Naama Bay with loads of shaded beds- 1 tip here is 2 quickly establish a beach guy (they wear red&white striped tops) who will look after you- tip him a decent amount on the 1st day - we gave him 50 Egyptian pounds (£5) & had a superb spot every day- so no need to rush down by 8.00AM!! Superb snorkelling literally within 3 or 4 paces from the shoreline- beautiful fish, amazing. We just were astounded!!Rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, loads of toiletries and 2 towel changes a day if u want. Beds changed daily & was such fun to come back to the room daily & wonder what the bed would look like (see pics). Food was great, loads of choice, freshly barbecued meat every night, loads of salads, really fresh & clean. the only thing to be really careful of is the money which is FILTHY!! take some antibacterial hand wash (the stuff they use in hospitals) and give yr hands a good rub with it after handling any money. We had a slight tummy upset which was almost def the money as towards the end of the week, our discipline lapsed with regards to hand cleaning!! Make sure you drink LOADS of water - the heat is very dry & u really will not realise yr dehydrated until it is too late..some great bars & shisha cafes literally 5 mins walk away. The main street in Naama Bay is considerably more attractive & feels more real than the more british areas round the corner where there are KFC's, TGI's etc. We did pop into hard rock cafe but it just felt like we were anywhere in the uk- bit pointless & vv expensive to drink there. All in all a fab hotel, superb location. Nothing negative whatsover, will def be going back next year!!
