“Beware of the reviews!!! Honest review 6 times in Sharm”

Just back from a week at The Corners St George… What a week.
All I can say is Chav Hell!!!

Have been to Sharm 6 times over the past 5 years and this has to be the worst hotel I have stayed in !!

Good points

Yes the hotel is spotlessly clean
The staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome (they do have an a motive for it though) They will hassle you on the last few days when you are going home handing out pieces of paper with there name on and the address for trip adviser please give us good reviews and say my name, will be good for me and keep my job safe…Blackmail!!
Wonder why this hotel scores so well in the ratings
Pascal restaurant is amazing eat here 2 nights and the food was fantastic with nice views over the pool you have to pay extra but worth it

The bad points

The hotels is on a busy dual carridge way with constant road noise, half the rooms over look this.
The hotel is next to a large water treatment works which is noisy and can be heard all day and night. Makes eating in the open air so pleasant!
Rooms are clean but very basic by 4* Sharm standards
The hotel has 2 pools, sun beds crammed in like Sardines in a can. If you are up after 8.30 am forget getting a bed round the pool!!
Hotel beach is nice but again get up early !! the hotel runs a shuttle bus to the beach every 30 mins from 9.30-12.30 but it only has 20 seats on it- do the sums-hotel takes 600 guests and the bus takes 20 at a time !!!

Food is ok but very hit and miss. The buffet restaurants is more like a works/school canteen with no atmosphere and very harsh lighting
Breakfast is the best meal of the day with plenty of choice fresh omelettes cooked to order along with very tasty fried eggs plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, cheeses and continental meats
Only had lunch at the hotel 1 day and that was ok
Dinner’s ok food often cold or luke warm but they do there best if you like salads etc, you will be fine. Plenty of choice and really fresh and with taste.
Food at the beach restaurant is very poor plus they only have seating for about 50 max at a time and the beach is shared with the Kirosez hotel so gets very busy so they often run out of food by 1.30 so eat early if you can!!! Our favourite meal at the beach restaurant must the spaghetti and liver pie, spaghetti mixed with chopped liver topped with pastry…..odd, bizarre.

All in all these hotel is far from a 4* more a 2/3*

If it’s your first time to Sharm and you are used to Benidorm, Magaluf or 1 of the other party resorts in the Med then you will love it
If you want a hotel that shows you some of the real charm of Egypt then book elsewhere!!

“Three corner St george - Brilliant”

We have just returned back from a fabulous week’s holiday in Egypt staying at the St.George Three corners. Everything was just great from the room the food and staff. The staff are so warm and friendly they can not do enough to make your stay more pleasant. Allun and George the towel / pool attendants were there every morning at 8am on the dot not a minuet before handing out the towels and making sure the pool was ready for the day. The hotel provides towels so no need to take your own, even when you go to the beach.
The temperature was in the 40s every day so spent many hours in the lovely clean pool. I recommend high factor sun lotion. The food is all fresh and there is such a large choice. I recommend you take a trip with Hammerheads on the snorkelling trip (they come round the pool side at the hotel) it was a great day out and a nice relief from the hot sun to get a the sea breeze even if you do not want to snorkel, go along and have a swim in the open clear sea it was so refreshing, we had an added bonus on our trip we got to see wild dolphin two separate pods.

My recommendations would be….
1. Take your own coffee (the coffee provided is like chicory)
2. Take a mug (if like me you enjoy a mug of tea first thing)
3. Forget exchanging money take English every thing is priced in English / Egyptian £ and they love the English £
4. Buy a couple of water bottles the ones you can flip the top and drink from the bottle is very handy for round the pool and you can just keep refilling the room has a
fridge so you can keep it cold
5. Use Avon soft and fresh as a mosquito spray they hate it
6. Drink plenty of water (this is provided free from water coolers jotted around the hotel)

I hope you enjoy your holiday and stay at the St. George as much as we did.

I had the best holiday ever and would without hesitation recommend Three Corners Saint George to anyone. Everyone was really friendly, extremely efficient and couldn’t do enough for you. Our room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel, the food was great so I never felt the need to eat away from the hotel. We did the city tour with them which was brilliant and very educational, some sights took my breath away. The only downside was that we went for 1 week which is not enough time to do everything we wanted. We are planning to return to Saint George as soon as possible. Just want to say a huge hello to Adel, Michael and all the waiters, thank you so much for making it a brilliant holiday. See you soon.

Me and my boyfriend came back from a 2 week holiday at the St George last week. And would definitely think about going back there in the near future.

The animation team Lager Lager, Memo, Kardou and Alex were all fantastic! The couldn't do more to try and entertain you all day and night. From dancing round the pool, playing sports in the day and at night helping out with the shows. Also the barman Hany at the mermaid was great! He was so entertaining and funny and always had a small on his face.

The food in the main resturant was ok, always something for you to eat. However it did start to get a little repetitive the 2nd week. But we did eat out in Namma Bay quite a few times and the food was all reasonably priced. I recommend the a la carte 'Chez Pascal' in the hotel. The food was lovely and the drinks were all part of your all-inclusive. For 2 people, 3 course meal it cost just over 200 LE (£20). A little let down was that the ice-cream was not part of the all-inclusive. Children got it free between a certian time but adults had to pay extra.

The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent, we couldn't fault it. Our room was lovely, we got a spacious pool view room. The hotel gave you free towel cards. So you got a fresh one every monring round the pool and even the beach.

The hotel do offer a free shuttle bus to Namma Bay and their private beach. However i would recommend to put your name down at reception first thing in the morning as they filled up very quickly. If you decided to get a taxi into Namma Bay this cost 30 LE, about £3. Don't let the taxi touts rip you off! They were good at that.

The hotels beach was about a 10 mins bus ride. And you could use your all-inclusive for drinks and lunch. At the beach their was water sports and the glass bottom boat, which you had to pay extra for.

Would highly recommend this hotel to all ages and groups!
