Returned from the st georges three corners on 23/06/08, weather was mad hot all the 2 weeks we were there, took me a few days to get use to it. The quiet pool was nice. Alot safer for the kids, than the noisy pool. Our room was very small for a family of 5 inc a baby, room 1096. the cleaner was miserable, never did us any sculpters with the towels, even thou we tipped. The hotel management tried to charge us for the tv remote that was already broken when we arrived. The patio doors would not shut / lock properly, PLEASE BE AWARE, they do not have many pay phones in sharm, so buy a sim there, it cost me £65 to phone home, over a three day period, the reps do not mention any of this (how expensive phone calls are) the food was nice, but after a few days it gets very repetitive, only serve chips at lunch time, only serve ice cream between 4and 5pm, the two pools are a good idea when you are with small children because in the quiet pool you can see and hear them nearly all the time, but if you are at the quiet pool and your children want (all inc)ice-cream then they have to go to the bar at the noisy pool which is not the best idea considering they can walk through the busy hotel lobby dripping wet through!!then if somebody was to slip whose fault would it be?????.i dont know why the ice-cream cant be provided at the quiet pool where alot of the smaller kids are is beyond me maybe its because they would rather sell you ice cream there at a pound ago!!!!money mad the egyptians believe me!!! the shops in the hotel, are expensive, although the cigs are pretty cheep, my son had a henna tatoo done £5,oo sterling, it rubbed off 2 days later, they should last 2 weeks ! on the last week we were there the enviromental health were called in, because so many guests had fallen ill, my boyfriend was ill the first few days, he was eating the pasta ! so be aware what you eat, most of the staff were nice and friendly, and it was quite clean. Although the theatre where they do the entertainment is very very smelly ! we seen a rat there one night. It is near the water plant, the gardens were lovely, very well taken care of, i just wish we had asked them to change our room to a bigger one, maybe that would of made the holiday a bit more stress free, as we were all crammed in together ! the animation team tried there best although the girl rebecca was always looking miserable, laga laga was funny ! there is nothiong really to do at night, if you have got kids. just stay round the hotel really. Naam bay is crazy! but its good for the young ones, pacha and hardrock cafe ! etc etc !! i really dont think i will go back to egypt, if i do, then i would stay somewhere a little bit better, or a different resort ! met some lovely people while we were there, and i have fond memories of egypt ! especially how hot it was !!
