QUALIFIED RECOMMENDATION. This is my first stay at a Fairfield (I usually like Courtyards) and travel extensively. This property is in good shape, clean, but very basic. The room while good size had very modest furnishings and lacked any real style. Free wireless internet. Bathroom was adequate (though sink space was tight). Bedding was fine. Lighting was industrial. Location is a plus, Buckhead and a number of good restaurants within walking distance (Buckhead Diner is across the street). Though not much foot traffic in area - it didn't seem dangerous. Noise was not too noticeable at night. Staff seemed mainly uninterested (a first for a Mariott property). So in the end, while nothing specific to not recommend, I was mildly disappointed -- Mariott needs to figure out how (within this price range) to spark it up a bit. This specific property is fine, however, for your stay.

Stayed here for three nights using my Marriot Rewards Points and I have to say this property is nicer than any Fairfield and many full service Marriots I've stayed at.

The Staff makes the difference at this property. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the MARTA. We were travelling by motorcycle and needed to do wash and the front desk gives you boxes of Tide complimentrary!! The continental breakfast is complete with homade waffles and a nice selection of upscale bakery. The rooms were nicely appointed with very comfortable beds. The free internet service in the business center was very convienient for checking email (only one terminal but they request you limit your time to 15 min and never had a problem) The only negative I can think of to this property is the size of the pool (its really small). Parking is free (unlike the courtyard a couple of blocks away)
