There is a hurricane watch in the Rio Grande Valley and in northern Mexico, as Hurricane Dolly moves toward the Texas-Mexico border. Officials caution that heavy rain and winds may lead to flooding and breaks in the levees. Further strengthening of the storm is expected before a predicted landfall on Wednesday.

The place is beautiful. The staff was fantastic. The breakfasts, peace and quiet, and afternoon cocktails were my favorite. La Paz is a great place and this is where to stay. more
